Interesting that DB and Morgan had the same amount of screen time that Sara had.  Since it was Sara-centric I'd have expected her to have a  lot more.

Wow... now that is what you call a balanced episode. More like this please writers, except with more Brass next time!

I wholly expect DB to get more screentime than the rest of the cast, being both the lead actor and lead CSI but I aside from the basketball episode I never feel like he dominates the time like Ray did. The past two episodes have been great in terms of balance and I hope that continues well into the new year. Particularly seeing as episode 11 hasn't been connected to anybody yet.

Ted/DB and LF/Ray are two completely different type of actors. Ted is a good actor but he doesn't have the same kind of presence before a camera that Lf has.

wildflower, I will agree that LF has "presence".  My problem is......he has presence.  Of course, I was never a fan of Fishburne to begin with but I have to say I really hated him on CSI and was never so happy as when he left.  I also blame the writers though because his character was poorly done and his episodes were pretty awful.  I appreciate that there are plenty of fans out there who really like LF and liked his character of Langston.  I really wish I could have been one of them but it did not click for me.  I like DB ever so much better and partly because he appears to be willing to be part of an ensemble and not monopolize the episodes the way LF did.

While not exactly like they used to be, I do find that episodes are much more balanced now than they were when LF was on there.  I'm not sure it's because Ted doesn't have the same kind of presence before a camera as much as it is that he knows how to play to a television camera.  It's a smaller style and movie type acting doesn't work as well on TV.  Some movie actors know how to tone it down for TV so that it works for them.  I just don't think LF knew or wanted to know how to make it work.

I would have been happier with more Nick and Greg and less Finn and Morgan.  As expected over-all Sara's episode.

Thanks---I am surprised at the Morgan time. She had a couple of long scenes. And at least 11 of Sara's minutes were waiting/watching her phone ring! LOL!!

Thanks, CgrGrl.

I didn't realize Finn was on quite that much, but I always tune her out when she's in a scene by herself without one of the other characters

Thanks, CgrGrl

I, again, didn't realize Finn was on quite so much in this one. Something must be wrong with me.....

Please don't tell me I'm starting to like her! NOOOOOOOOO >:( :o :'(

It's ok to like Finn.  As hard as it is for us long-time fans to swallow, she's the female star so it's either get used to her or be mad about it.

Personally, I want my Nicky to get some meat to chew on in an episode or 5, but I've been waiting for years and have come to realize that he'll forever be my beautiful, talented co-star without a story line.

I have been disappointed with Nick's screen time this season, esp coming after one of the directors/writers/tptb had an interview saying Nick was going to be at the front of something personal--so far, that's been with a dog. And we don't even know if he got the dog, do we?

More the season of Sara and her LDR angst (long-distance relationship).

He got the dog.  His storyline was that the dog couldn't sleep in the bed when his girlfriend comes over.  My thoughts were, "Nicky, I'm fine sharing a bed with you and the dog."
