I have to say I'm getting more excited every day!  I really can't wait.  I like that black woman who is, I think, head of the group.  I've seen her in a few things and she is good.  Don't know anything about the other newbies.  CSI Vegas!  Yeah, baby!!! :D

I think I saw somewhere that Marg had signed on to do a different show.  Can't remember the name of it of course!  So, unless she takes vacation from her new show, I don't think we'll see Catherine. I am still really excited about this.  Someone has been posting photos of Jorja in Las Vegas so it's starting to feel real!!

I am so excited about this.  Has anyone seen a tentative date when it will be aired?  oldfanatic, I'm with you.  I saw those names and went hmmm, wonder who they are.  ;D  I just hope they are adult actors and not the 20-something.  I guess I've just gotten too old (74 now) to appreciate the really young actors.  However, I will be glued to the set as soon as it starts.  WooHoo!  CSI Vegas.  Yeah, baby! :) :D ;D

I'm definitely staying safe.  Starting to feel like a hermit - never go out for anything.

Boo!  A few days late.  :P  Without going out and really not seeing anyone, I have managed to catch a cold. Bad cough and generally not feeling good so will be a lazy slug this weekend and hope to knock it out.  hope everyone else is well and staying safe.  Wishing everyone a Happy November!   :D

Sarapals survived Sally. She posted pictures on Facebook - trees uprooted, no electricity, but she's okay. Dy is out in Washington but she posted on FB and seemed to be okay but the road she needed to get home was blocked by fire so she was going to have to take the long road home.

So sorry our Rats are having to go through this!

I agree.  I just wish it could happen right away. It would be a wonderful distraction from being home all the time.

Susan, I don't think the show would be Grissom/Sara exclusively, but they were and are the stars of the show. It would be great if they could have all of the original cast (except Warrick, of course) on the show but I'm sure a lot of it would depend on their availability.  Just because we aren't seeing Catherine, Nick, Greg, etc. in a show we're watching doesn't mean they aren't busy with other shows.  There are so many channels now that it would be real easy to miss  a show they they may be starring in.

What's the word, Dy?  Did the surgery help?  Are you feeling any better and has the vertigo gone away?  Hope you're checking in with the board and will let us know.

It sounds like there will be a completely new cast but as long as Billy and Jorja are there, I'll watch and try to love the other characters!  Whee - happy happy about this.

I had read several posts from Dy on Facebook and figured her friends over here would want to know what she is going through.  It's a really tough situation. I hope knowing how much we all care and are concerned for you, Dy, will lift your spirits a little.

Dy posted the following on Facebook but I thought all the boardrats would want to know what's going on with her.

So, had a virtual appointment with my neuro-otologist and prognosis is grim
He is putting me on a sedative for the cluster headaches and vistibular migraines and scheduling me to have Endolymphatic sac decompression surgery; his exact words on the report were: " With her medically intractable bilateral Meniere's Diesease....I remain very reluctant to consider destructive options and accordingly that leaves very little available to her"
He told me that with the MDDS, cluster headaches, vistibular migraines and Bilateral Meniere's Disease I am one of only 16% of patients to have Meniere's this bad.
We laughed and laughed and I asked him to buy me a lotto ticket with those odds.
I have to do a fine cut temporal bone CT prior to the surgery and I think that will be around the end of August.
Guess with me, if I'm gonna do something, I may as well go all out!! (But to be honest, I'm actually a bit petrified  )

Checking in with everyone. Like Anna, I too am a hermit. My step-daughter's husband does all of my shopping and errands.  I have been trying to give him a little break by ordering most of my groceries through InstaCart.  In fact, I'll be getting a delivery very soon.  Just got the text.  I don't go out for anything and have been working from home since March 16.

Happy Birthday to our own beloved Old Fanatic today.  Would love to see a post on here from her letting us all know how she is doing during this trying time.
